Let me extol a Mighty Warrior.
In heaven, He triumphed against Lucifer.
On land, He won countless battles.
In the water, He drowned Pharaoh.
In the underworld, He defeated Satan again.
He is an ever-reigning Universal Champion.
To Him, anything can be a weapon.
With a staff, He parted the sea and made it sweep away His adversaries.
With a sling, He hurled a stone and knocked out a fully armored giant.
With trumpets, He turned fortified walls into heaps of rubble.
With a jawbone, He slayed a thousand soldiers.
He never runs out of weapons.
This Warlord never ceases to amaze us with His tactics.
He told Moses to raise his rod high
And his soldiers prevailed over their enemies for as long as the rod stayed high.
At Jericho, He commanded Israelites to simply march in silence.
On many occasions, He instigated fear and panic among his adversaries
And put them to the sword as they fled from Him.
Today, He still wins every war He engages in.
He wins all wars the world wages on us, His people.
He wins all wars the devil wages on us, His people.
He wins all wars we, His people, wage on ourselves.
He deserves our ultimate trust for He is the only true Shield.
